Stop Nuclear Power!

They tell us the water leaking from the nuclear meltdown disaster in Japan is no biggie, it would just give you something like a "bad sunburn". A bad sunburn from water? Make no mistake, this is seriously fatal radiation, and 3 weeks into this catastrophe there is little hope of containment any time soon, much like the recent massive BP oil spill in the Gulf of New Mexico. Stop Nuclear Power Action Page: http://www.peaceteam.net/action/pnum1077.php Nuclear power generation is absolutely the worst possible investment for our energy development dollars, a technology that would not even be commercially viable without massive government subsidies with our tax dollars. And with one Three Mile Island in our own country already, and 14 near misses last year alone, it is just dancing with an inevitable Armageddon to do build any more nuclear power plants. Instead we should be winding down the ones we have so foolishly put into operation already. The "spent" fuel rod pools in the U.S. are already at 4 times over capacity, and more than that in excess of the Fukushima pools which are so dangerously overheated and spewing radiation spreading all over the globe now. End these insane policies now and get serious about a crash program to promote renewable green energy. And after you submit the action page, we'd be happy to send you for no charge one of our bumper stickers for "The Last War Crime", a new feature length dramatic film about indicting Cheney for torture. We have completed principal photography and have many good progressive activists working hard on the editing, the sound score and everything else we will need in post production to make this a theatrical quality final product. Of course if you can make a donation of any amount, please do so, because this is what makes it possible for us to not only finance this film, but also to send free bumper stickers to anyone who cannot make a donation right now. So here is the direct link where you can request your own bumper sticker for "The Last War Crime".
